For all of you following the adventures of Ms. Stella Page on her grand New York City adventure, here's the latest update: Stella is taking NYC by storm! What else could we expect from our heroic designer? From setting up trunk shows at Henry Bendel, to rubbing elbows with the top dogs at Chanel, Stella is doing it all- in style! All Ms. Page has to do, it seems, is walk in to an establishment with one of her latest handbag creations (and wait until you see them!), and she has the New York City fashionistas swooning!

Stella knows what it's like to "reinvent" herself as an entrepreneur and follow her dreams, and is pleased to support ongoing research that helps women follow their passions and thrive! She is very excited to be participating in an online survey and focus group researching working women and working mothers. SO...

Spring Forward

 

The Spring/Summer 2011 collection from Stella Page Design is in the works, and boy, oh, boy (or girl, oh, girl, rather) are you in for a treat! We had a wonderful shoot with models, stylists, and a fantastic photographer to showcase the line and here are some of the pictures that came of that exciting, sexy day! 

We here at Stella Page Design are looking forward to Spring and you should be, too! The new designs are absolutely gorgeous, with motifs such as Antique Birdcage that are sure to take your breath away.

La Philosophie dans le boudoir

An amazing photo shoot for Stella Page Design yesterday at Urban Farmhouse in Salinas showcasing our Spring 2011 line of beautiful designer handbags! Photographer Glen McDowell found his muse in Stella Page Design's latest line as well as in model Masha Loukianeko. It was a match made in heaven! The entire day was a dream and the pictures turned out beautifully, just like the handbags. Stay tuned- more photos to come on this blog and on our website, stellapagedesign.com.

The Artist

Stella was born to be an artist. From early childhood she was surrounded by fashion, theater, and abundant creativity. Her father was a prolific architect and fine artist, her mother was a renowned fashion beauty, and her entire family, from her grandparents to her siblings, was involved in all aspects of local theater. Even as a small girl Stella was encouraged to play in a world of whimsy, luxury, and ‘dress up’. The inspiration for Stella Page Design collections stem from this fertile creative ground.

Throughout her youth Stella created pen and ink drawings, paintings, and collages almost daily. As a young adult Stella pursued her love of fashion by attending the renowned FIDM, where she excelled in couture, fashion illustration, and draping. In 1999, Stella decided it was time to take her creativity to the next level, and it was then that she began to hone her design skills and master the craftsmanship of fine leather accessories for women. With a pinch of borrowed money, a heaping spoonful of talent, and a whole lot of tenacious hard work Stella Page Design was born. Her first collection was an instant and uproarious success.

Today, nearly 12 years later, Stella’s bags are still the coveted, praised works of art that they were at their conception, only better.  “I’m definitely hitting my stride”, Stella says, “but the best is yet to come."
